Wind and Rio Lady Ruby and Rio
Valentine's Day is known as the day of love. The Grand Valley Horse Rescue has four horses searching for their Valentine to help them get to the rescue, as they are emergency surrenders.
Wind, Rio and Ruby were rescued from a kill pen by a loving couple. Their human mama and papa nursed them back to health, made the world a safe place again and love them deeply. Now that the cancer has returned, they need to surrender Wind, a 2 year-old buckskin colt, Ruby, an 8 year-old, bay pony mare and her son, Rio a 2 year-old, bay colt.
Lady is a 29 year-old bay mare. Last summer, she was kicked by a pasture mate and started limping so her owner gave her away to a young mom. The young mom determined that she can no longer give her the care she deserves and is surrendering her to the recue.
Please shower these beautiful souls some love as the Grand Valley Horse Rescue needs to raise $3,965 to cover the cost of the vet bills for health certificates and Coggins tests, brand inspections, farrier costs, and fuel.
